Who is responsible for your information?
NoorGuard Ltd is responsible for personal information handled through this website and related business enquiries. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16057684. Contact us about privacy or your rights at hello@noorguard.com.
Our registered office is Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom.
This notice covers the NoorGuard consultancy website and enquiries made to us. It does not describe a live Horizon Identity Intelligence platform or a Horizon self-assessment tool. Horizon is a separate platform in development; any future collection of information through it will need its own appropriate privacy information.
What information do we handle?
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, business email address, role, organisation, contact details and message. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information, passwords or confidential access credentials in an initial enquiry.
Our hosting and security providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and pages requested, to deliver and protect the website. The site currently uses email links rather than an enquiry form.
Why do we use it?
We use enquiry information to respond, understand your requirements and manage relevant business conversations. Our lawful basis is normally our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and maintaining professional relationships. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, that may provide the relevant basis. We also use necessary technical information for our legitimate interests in operating a reliable and secure website, and retain information where a legal obligation requires it.
We do not sell your personal information. The current website does not automatically sign you up to a newsletter or send your enquiry to Horizon.
Cookies, analytics and advertising.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising pixels or optional tracking cookies. Hosting and security features may use necessary technical cookies.
If we introduce optional tracking, we will update this notice, explain the tools and purposes, and request consent where required before activating that tracking. We will not treat continuing to browse as consent.
Links to research publishers and other external sites lead to services with their own privacy arrangements. Following a link does not subscribe you to their services.
Who may receive information?
We use service providers for website hosting, security, business email and ordinary business operations. We limit access to people and providers who need the information for the relevant purpose.
We may disclose information to professional advisers or authorities where necessary to meet a legal obligation, handle a dispute or protect our legal rights. If processing involves a transfer outside the UK, we must use an applicable lawful transfer arrangement and appropriate safeguards. You can contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
How long do we keep it?
For an enquiry that does not become an active engagement, our retention policy is to review and normally delete or anonymise the enquiry within 12 months of the last meaningful contact. If the discussion remains active, we keep the information needed to continue it and review it when that purpose ends.
Information needed for an engagement, accounting, legal obligations or a dispute may need to be retained longer, according to that purpose and the applicable requirements. This website-enquiry period is not a retention schedule for all client, employment or financial records.
Your rights.
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive certain information in a portable format. If we rely on consent for a particular activity, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Email hello@noorguard.com to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity before responding. Some rights have exceptions, including where information must be retained to meet a legal obligation.
You have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. We welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.
Keeping this notice current.
We will update this notice when the way this website or our enquiry process handles information changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
